Ip Fax
IP FAX provides the ability to send faxes using existing email technology. The service works with any email program and is as easy to use as sending an email.
IP FAX enables you to handle faxes with more flexibility, reliability, security and lower costs than with a separate fax service.
IP Fax is designed to offer companies an easy-to-use alternative to in-house faxing. Based on an IP network, rather than costly PSTN connections, users can enable their current email systems to send fax messages.
IP Fax uses the power of the Internet to enable customers to send fax messages anytime and anywhere in the world using standard mail-client software. The mail-to-fax functionality provides plain text faxing, supports attachments, the use of logos and cover sheets and the ability to broadcast faxes.
Supported formats - MS Word, MS Excel, MS Powerpoint, Adobe Acrobat, ASCII, BMP, RTF, Write, Postscript level 2, Wordpad, Lotus 123, WordPerfect and Visio.
Ip SMS
Subscribers to IP SMS can send SMS text messages to mobile phone, using regular SMTP addressing procedures.
For any message addressed as follows: mobile_number@SMS.IBPMAIL.NET
Characteristics:
Deliver time - In general between 5 and 15 minutes after submission of the message.
Max length of the message - 160 characters including subject length and phone number.
Supported body parts - IA5 (7 bits ASCII) and T.61 (Teletex)
Retries - 5 retries in 1 hour
